The Kalindi Kunj-Abul Fazal Enclave road is in bad shape for the last many months with daily commuters facing hardship.

This very busy road, which was paved before monsoon, has now been riddled with potholes. From time to time the potholes are filled with construction material.

And the dusty and bumpy road is making life of residents miserable. The dust being raised from vehicular movement is harming residents’ lungs.

Chances are that many regular commuters may develop allergic cold and other dust-related health issues, including skin irritation, eye irritation, hair fall and acne.

Driving at night becomes difficult due to potholes and several dark spots. Several minor road accidents have been reported from this stretch.

It is not only the life of commuters is at risk on this road but also vehicles which can break down after landing on an even road, causing hardship.

Residents want the road to be paved as soon as possible so that the road becomes safe for driving and travelling and hardship comes to an end.

Earlier, when the road was paved after years of neglect, many residents had hoped that it will last for long. But it happened like that and there are many roads in the locality which need immediate care.
