    Al-Khair celebrates 5th foundation day

    Al-Khair Foundation celebrated its 5th foundation day in the Constitutional Club of India. Former MP Md Adeeb and social activist and Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, appreciated work done by the Okhla-headquartered NGO.

    Founder of the organisation Dr Darakhshan said her NGO is providing free education, free health, 3,000 meals per day for the needy.

    Dr Shankar Kumar Sanyal, president of Harijan Sevak Sangh, said more people should avail benefits from us.

    Former-MP Naresh Yadav was also present on the occasion.

    Councillor Wajid Khan the NGO is doing good work. Health director of Al-Khair Foundation Dr Amit Upadhyay said we have treated more than 300 cancer patients.

    “We have limitations as we don’t have our hospital so we have to pay huge amounts to other hospitals that’s why we have decided to establish our hospital in near future so that we may help many more people,” he said.

    Dr Intekhabur Rahman, CEO of Al-Khair, said the best gift someone can give to others is the gift of time.
