Okhla kid, son of Jamia Millia Islamia alumnus loses battle with cancer on Sunday night, according to residents.
Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Jamaat mosque after zuhar on Tuesday with the the 12-year-old boy laid to rest at Shaheen Bagh graveyard, said residents.
Jamia alumnus Syed Md Kazim said the child is Arshad Nizami’s son. He studied in Jamia Millia Islamia most probably during 1993-94 and was junior to us, said Kazim.
The family is from Azamgarh and has been residing in Okhla for many years, said another resident, adding that the family now has 2 children.
