    Nighat Farooq awarded PhD

    Nighat Farooq awarded PhD

    Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has declared Nighat Farooq qualified in Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology.

    She has worked on the topic “Study of Correlation of Viral Load and Epigenetic Modification of Genomic and HPV-DNA in Pre-cancerous and Cancer Stages of Cervical Cancer” under the supervision of Dr Arif Ahmad, Assistant Professor, Zoology Section, MANUU and Co-Supervision of Professor PF Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Dr Abdul Haq University, Kurnool and Dr Vishnu Priya, Associate Professor, MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad.

    Nighat’s viva-voce was conducted on August 17, 2023, said the university.

    In another development, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Hyderabad conduced fourth phase of admission counselling into vacant ITI Trades on September 22, 2023.

    According to Dr. Arshia Azam, Principal, those who are desirous to take admission can attend counseling in person along with original certificates from 9.30 am at ITI, MANUU Campus, Gachibowli.

    The university in a statement said spot admissions are available for eligible candidates who have qualified in CUET for admission into 4 Year Under Graduate Programmes – B.A., B.A. (JMC), B.Com, B.Sc. Courses and for M.Tech – CSE (AI and ML) Part-time program under sponsored / self-finance mode at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). The online portal will be opened on September 23 & 24, 2023.

    According to Prof. M. Vanaja, Director, Directorate of Admissions, candidates who have chosen MANUU or failed to choose MANUU and who have not qualified and not selected Urdu as language option in CUET can also apply for UG programmes if they have studied Urdu as language or medium of instruction at 10 or 10+2 level.

    Spot admissions are also available for admission into different Merit Based Post Graduate courses and PG Diploma in Teaching English from September 22 to 24, 2023.
