    Professor Farhat Basir Khan honoured

    Professor Farhat Basir Khan was awarded the prestigious Dr. Ambedkar’s Youth for Nation Award for Excellence in Media and Journalism in a glittering ceremony held at Delhi’s cultural and intellectual hub, the India International Center (IIC).

    The annual ceremony recognizes exceptional individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their respective fields and society at large.

    Professor Khan received the award for his groundbreaking contributions to journalism and media, with over four decades of experience in teaching, research, industry practice, policy, and administration. He is renowned for pioneering the inclusion of photography and electronic media education in vocational school and higher education.

    The event was held on World Knowledge Day and the birth anniversary of the Father of the Indian Constitution, adding significance to the recognition of Prof. Khan’s contributions.

    Several dignitaries, including Chief Guest Ramesh Chandra Ratan, Member: NFCH, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, Ex-Chairman PSC, Ministry of Railways, Railway Board, Govt. of India, and Guest of Honour, Anil Aggrawal, Member of Parliament, Government of India, graced the occasion
