Share his photo so that family members can know about him, claimed the viral message.

When contacted, a staff of Al-Shifa did confirm about it and said the person in viral photo was brought dead in the hospital on Sunday night.

“His body has been sent for postmortem to AIIMs.”

When asked if the body is unclaimed, the Al-Shifa official said his son came later on and the photo doing the rounds on the social media is of the same person who is no more.

The hospital employee said the father and son had come from Rampur looking for job and they are not from Okhla. The hospital employee said the deceased has been identified as Zameer, 54. “All the expenses have been paid by hospital management of the patient on humanitarian ground. Ambulance was hired,” said the hospital management.

It is not known whether the body will be taken back to Rampur or the person will be laid to rest in Batla House.
