    SDMC holds first virtual mega PTM in all its schools

    SDMC holds first virtual mega PTM in all its schools

    The SDMC organised its first Virtual Mega PTM in all schools across its jurisdiction. Virtual Mega Parents Teachers meeting in all 581 schools today witnessed the online participation of around 1300 parents, it said.

    In the virtual PTM around 2350 Principals, teachers, parents and other dignitaries virtually connected in the function organised today at Civic Centre.

    On the occasion Mayor Anamika said holding of Virtual PTM in one go in all 581 schools is a unique initiative to analyse all the valuable suggestions received from the parents and teachers and chalk out an action plan to make online education more better and effective.

    She said the SDMC has started online admission campaign in its all schools and till now we have enrolled 15000 students through online process. Over 1 lakh students are participating in our online education programme.

     

    While appreciating the efforts of SDMC, BJP State President Adesh Gupta said organisation of virtual PTM is a innovative and novel way of connecting with parents. He said it gives teachers and parents, an opportunity to connect and bond for the benefit of their children.

    Gupta also announced that New Education Policy will be implemented in all Municipal schools from next academic session. He asked all three MCD’s to adopt new curriculum based on the NEP in the schools.

     

    Leader of House Narendra Chawala said in order to ensure continuance of study of the students during this corona crises, SDMC is assisting parents in every possible way. He said every effort will be done by the Education Department for online admissions as well as the online classes of the students

    Chairman, Education Committee Mukesh Suryan said all the principals and teachers are working very hard to make online education successful. This virtual PTM is the excellent example of their dedication and commitment. The direct active interaction by most of the parents coming from economically weaker sections is very much appreciated.

    BJP National Vice President Shyam Jaju was virtually present on the occasion. BJP State President Adesh Gupta, Mayor Anamika, Chairman, Standing Committee  Rajdutt Gehlot, Leader of House Sh Narendra Chawla, Chairman, Education Committee, Mukesh Suryan, Addl Commissioner AA Tazir and Director, Education Shrish Sharma also graced the occasion.
