18 + vaccination centres to open at 11 SDMC schools: SDMC Mayor

Mayor of South Delhi Municipal Corporation Anamika today said that the Delhi Government has decided to include SDMC vaccination centres in third phase of vaccination in which people aged between 18-44 years are being allowed for Covid vaccination.

The Mayor said that initially 11 SDMC schools will be allowed for vaccination.

She said that 3 vaccination centres from Central Zone, 2 vaccination centres from South Zone, 4 vaccination centres from Najafgarh Zone and 2 vaccination centres from West Zone will be allowed vaccination under third phase.

The SDMC is making all arrangements related to vaccination as it is aimed to vaccinate people in large.

Anamika said she had written a letter to the Lieutenant Governor for allowing vaccination of people aged above 18 years at SDMC vaccination centres following which permission is granted by the Delhi Government. She appealed people to get their registration done as early as possible as vaccination is necessary in fight against Covid-19.
