Ghaffar Manzil-based Delhi Police cop Suhaib Ahmad Farooqui honoured for his work during Covid.

“It is a great honour that my name is considered worthy of an award. I served the society as a Covid warrior for that I have been awarded with Mother Teresa Emblem in the annual event Jashn_e_Bharat organised by Indian Heritage & Health Care Centre.

“And this honour was given to me by eminent personalities of the nation such as Prof Waseem Barelvi, Prof Akhtarul Wasey, Prof Ashok Chakradhar, Dr Mohsin Wali, Kamna Prasad,  Akhilesh Mishra IAS, Jamal Khan, DIG/CISF,” he wrote on his timeline soliciting congratulatory cooments.

Years ago, Farooqui was associated with Jamia Nsgar police station as a senior police officer.

Currently, he is with the Delhi Metro.

Farooqui us also a poet.
