Zakir Nagar gives sweaters, sack mat for stray dogs to beat winter chill!!!
It is end of December and people all over the country, including Okhla, have taken out winter clothes to keep them warm. And as people wrap themselves up in warm clothes, jackets and caps, it is stray dogs that usually are left in the street to face winter chill.
But in Jamia Nagar there are many kind-hearted people who make sure that in winter, stray dogs don’t suffer and stay warm. In Zakir Nagar, resident Aabid Malik has made stray dogs wear discarded human sweaters and even sack mat so that they stay comfortable during cold months.
In other parts of Jamia Nagar also one can see stray dogs wearing discarded sweater. A resident said there are animal lovers who take care of strays in the locality.
