Synthetic court is being prepared for residents of Sarita Vihar so that they could play basketball and tennis, according to Manish Choudhury, husband of Sarita Vihar councillor Nitu Choudhury.

Save community journalism by paying Rs 500, 1,000 and more.

He said the court is ready and from Sunday onwards, children of the locality can play and hone their game skills by playing on this synthetic court.

People can even play lawn tennis.

Neetu said the court is being built by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC).

“This is the first park with synthetic court. I have been a sportsperson and I want to gift something to children of the locality. I urge children to come and hone their skills so that they can represent the country and make Sarita Vihar proud and India,” he said.

Very soon we are also working on bringing basketball, lawn tennis, badminton courts for Jasola Vihar residents, he said.
