Watch: Patrolling in Batla House continues
Patrolling in Batla House continues to maintain peace and harmony in the locality, said a resident. Sudhar Trust chairman Sagheer Abbasi said police is patrolling the locality for peace in the locality.

In a video, he said since the violence in Jahingirpuri, security in the locality has been stepped up. On the first night, patrolling was started from Shaheen Bagh, Batla House and Jamia Millia Islamia. Later on reports surfaced of how the Delhi Police was keeping an eye on the locality through drone cameras.
A few days ago, DCP South East Delhi had tweeted: “#DelhiPolice is out on the streets of Jamia Nagar, South East Distt for patrolling to instill confidence among residents. Let’s all maintain peace and harmony together. We would request everyone to keep rumours at bay.”
