30 oxygen bed to be placed in Noor Nagar school: Amanatullah Khan

As Delhi faces oxygen crisis with Covid-19 cases on the rise, Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan in a video message to residents said he is planning to establish 30 oxygen beds in Noor Nagar School for Covid patients.

Though he didn’t give any deadline when the work will be finished, a local AAP arty source told the OT over phone that he too has come to know from sources that the Wakf Delhi Board is mulling to have 30 oxygen beds in Noor Ngar School so that local residents can benefit from it.

Several appeals of residents have surfaced online in which Covid patients’ relatives have asked for oxygen and talked about its crisis. A resident said he bought oxygen cylinder for Rs 16,000 for his father a few days, which in normal days is available for Rs 8,000 or so.

A few days ago the OT had reported after to reliable sources that how Ishat-E-Islami mosque in Jamaat-E-Islami Hind was planning to have extra oxygen beds in its newly expanded mosque building in Abul Fazal Enclave.

However, a source aware of the development said now the oxygen beds will be placed in a school and the committee is looking for space in Milli Model School or Scholar Shool.
