It was on Thursday when the temperature dropped drastically to 3.4 degrees Celsius from 8.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. And there is no respite from cold wave for the next few days as the weather department has forecast.

Besides, city’s air quality was reported in the “very poor” category as the Ministry of Earth Sciences SAFAR system recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 308 on Friday.
