Why are Okhla netizens rushing to sign in Netflix?

Netflix is popular among Okhla residents for watching videos. And since Netflix announced to be available for free, for two days starting at 12:01 am today with the StreamFest to end on December 6 at 11:59 pm, many Okhla residents are trying to sign in to watch their most-talked about movies, TV shows and documentaries for free.

Save community journalism by paying Rs 500, 1,000 and more.

However, many are not successful as they said they were unable to log in. A resident said it appears that there is a mad rush as Netflix is now available for free, but only for two days and hence he was unable to proceed further even after initial sign up like entering your name, email or phone number.

For many using Netflix is easy as it can be downloaded from Google Play Store.

If you wish to watch for more than 2 days then be ready to buy a plan, the cheapest on mobile phone is Rs 199 for one user. The basic Netflix plan will cost Rs 499, and the standard plan will require you to pay Rs 649. For Rs 799 you can avail a premium Netflix plan.

“[W]e think that giving everyone in a country access to Netflix for free for a weekend could be a great way to expose a bunch of new people to the amazing stories that we have, the service, how the service works, really create an event, and hopefully get a bunch of those folks to sign up,” said Netflix Chief Product Officer Greg Peters, reported zeebiz.com.
