After a myna baby survived a 10-feet drop from its nest in Abul Fazal Enclave, the first thing the baby needed was human help to be back on its legs.

Two residents, who witnessed the moment, when the mama bird came chirping to locate her lost baby, and then it was reunited, said the baby was taken away by the bird’s mother and father.

The whole process of reunion was not easy.

It all started after some small children playing around spotted the myna baby on the street. They rushed to help it by picking it up and carrying it to safety, said a resident, adding that it was only after a few minutes the myna family arrived on the spot looking for the lost baby.

After seeing the desperate myna mama chirping to locate her lost baby, one AFE resident asked the children to put the myna baby on the road.

The excited children immediately brought the baby and put it on the car’s bonnet. As the children were around the myna family didn’t come down. Later on the children were asked to stay calm and just watch the reunion from far.

After a few minutes the two birds which were sitting on the wire came down on the car bonnet where the baby myna was placed and took it away, said the resident.
