Miscreants tried to attack me with blade in Abul Fazal Enclave, friend save me: NDTV journalist Munne Bharti

Okhla-based NDTV journalist and activist Munne Bharti tweeted a few hours ago about miscreants’ bid to attack him with a blade at Nai Basti in Jamia Nagar today.

Replying to his post,  DCP South East Delhi tweeted: “ACP NFC has been directed to look into the matter.”

“कुछ बदमाशों ने मुझपर जामियानगर के नई बस्ती (पुलिस बूथ) के पास मेरा मास्क खींच कर चेहरे पर बिलेट से हमला करने ही वाले थे की गुजर रहे @shoaibJamei  ने जान बचाई, SHO शाहीन बाग़ को सूचना फ़ोन पर दी, पुलिस पहुँची लेकिन गिरफ़्तारी नहीं,” tweeted Munne. His post was retweeted by the Press Club of India. “This is unacceptable,” tweeted PCI.

The OT made several calls to the journalist to know what really happened, but he didn’t pick up the phone neither returned the call.
