He was found in Seelampur market and after being found by police he was taken to the orphanage center at Dilshad Garden, said Alauddin.

The child will be handed over to the mother tomorrow only, he said.

When asked how Saif reached Seelampur, Alauddin expressed surprise and said they too had no idea. “After being informed we rushed to the orphanage centre. As we were late we were asked to come tomorrow to take the boy. The officer asked Saif to identify his mother Ismat Khatoon which he did. After which when we asked him how he reached Seelampur, the boy told us he took a bus,” said Alauddin.

He said we were all taken aback. “How can a small boy take a bus and reach Seelampur. Only after Saif comes home will things be known,” he said.

The story of the missing boy was carried by the OT yesterday.

Many residents expressed their happiness on social media after coming to know that the missing boy has been found.

A resident said he is curious to know the whole story of how Saif reached Seelampur. For the time being it is a big relief for the family as Saif’s mother Ismat Khatoon has been running from pillar to post in search of her small son.
