The price of the iPhone 16e has dropped significantly ahead of the launch of the iPhone 17. The device is now available on various e-commerce platforms for just ₹52,490.

Launched in India in February 2025, the 128GB variant of the iPhone 16e was originally priced at ₹59,900. It is currently listed at ₹52,490 on Vijay Sales. Additional discounts of up to ₹11,000 are available, including an instant ₹3,500 off on EMI purchases using HDFC Bank credit or debit cards. This brings the effective price close to ₹50,000.

On Amazon, the iPhone 16e is priced at ₹51,999. While there is no flat discount at the moment, buyers can get ₹1,559 cashback when paying via Amazon Pay ICICI Bank card.

The iPhone 16e comes with a 6-inch Super Retina OLED XDR display with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and Ceramic Shield protection. It is powered by Apple’s A18 chipset and a 16-core neural engine. Notably, it is Apple’s most affordable device to support Apple Intelligence features.

In terms of cameras, the phone has a 48MP rear camera with OIS and 4K video recording at 60fps. The front camera is 12MP and also supports 4K 60fps video capture.

After the launch of the iPhone 17, the prices of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 15 are expected to drop, and Apple may discontinue the older models. Amazon and Flipkart are also likely to offer deals and discounts on previous-generation iPhones, potentially bringing their prices down to ₹50,000 or below.
