Missing Jamia school aspirant Mahfooz found after 2 months

Jamia School aspirant, who had gone missing from Okhla after appearing in exam on May 14, has been found, according to a close family relative.

Jamia school aspirant goes missing from Okhla after exam, family seeks help in finding him

Mahfooz Alam, 15, had gone missing from Okhla’s rented accommodation nearly two months ago. And following which the family had even filed a police complaint. The OT had reported about the incident then.

Sharing information about Mahfooz being found from Old Delhi, the family member said it was on Tuesday night. She said after getting his location, Mahfooz ‘two brothers were staying in the locality for the last two days waiting for their brother to come out of the building. She said it has been two months of a long ordeal with the family even filing a case in the court.

She said details are yet awaited. It is not known whether Mahfooz ran from his house or was forcibly taken from Okhla. Several calls to his brother went unattended.

Mahfooz had come from Aligarh to appear for the entrance exam of Class XII at Jamia, said his brother Md Marghoob Alam.
He appeared for the exam on Saturday after which he called his father in Bihar to inform him that the exam was fine, he had said in the complaint.

“The father told him to go to the room. Then he came to his room in Jamia Nagar and then left the room with a bag. Before coming to Delhi to try his luck in Jamia, he was staying in Aligarh for the last three months. He passed Class 10 th from Bihar Board getting 82 per cent,” he said.
