No lockdown, migrant labourers need not panic: Jain

People were urged in Delhi to follow the rules related to corona. Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Thursday urged Delhiites to wear masks for safety and follow social distancing while going to public places.

He assured the people through the press that there is no lockdown in Delhi, migrant labourers need not panic. The assurance has come as many migrant labourers are worried with cases going up, fearing that lockdown will be imposed. There is no restriction on construction work in Delhi.

On Thursday, Delhi reported 28,867 new cases. The number has turned out to be the highest 1-day rise with positivity rate jumping to 29 per cent.

This indicates that for every three tests conducted, one person is testing positive in Delhi.
