A lone divider at Kalindi Kunj-Abul Fazal Enclave road is cause of several mishaps, according to commuters. Residents who are regular on this road said the divider is kept in such a way that at night when the area is dark chances are high that you might hit your vehicle and get harmed.

Several stories are narrated by residents of how their vehicle hit the divider sans reflector on the whole stretch. After the OT posted a photo of the divider on the social media, a netizen wrote: “One day a car driver hit my bike from behind. I was driving slow so nothing happened. After looking back I saw that the driver in the dark, who most probably must be new to the locality, had rammed his vehicle on the divider. Please get this divider removed.”

A few months ago, a resident had told the OT that how his friend’s car had rammed his vehicle on the divider, damaging the front portion. He had to spent good money to get the car fixed, he said, adding that he was lucky that he was unhurt in the mishap.

These are just a few incidents. Many commuters, who are new to the locality, do face hardship to drive on this stretch, a dark spot.
