75% wrote Jamia’s Class–XI entrance tests, outstations centres scrapped

Entrance tests for admission to Class 11th (Science, Arts & Commerce streams) in various schools run by Jamia Millia Islamia successfully concluded today.

More than 75 per cent of the total 17,256 applicants appeared in the test organised on 11th, 12th and 13th July, 2021.

Test for admission to 11th Commerce stream was conducted today and it is worth mentioning that 76 per cent of the total 1,893 applicants appeared for the test.

Out of the total 2,797 applicants for admission to class 11th Arts stream, 77 per cent appeared for the test conducted yesterday.

Entrance test for 11th Science stream was conducted on 11th July (Sunday). Out of the total 12,566 applicants 74 per cent appeared in the entrance test conducted at 31 test centres across the national Capital.

Vice Chancellor Prof Najma Akhtar said high attendance even in the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic period tells the importance and value of JMI among students.

She congratulated the organising team including the Controller of Examination, Deans, coordinating teachers and other staff for successful organisation of the tests.

All Covid-19 related guidelines and protocols were followed during the entrance tests.
