Rizwan special: Haleem Egg Biryani all the rage in Okhla

The flagship delicacy Haleem is something that is very popular in the month of Ramzan. But there is no dearth of foodies who throng an eatery at Okhla Head to relish Haleem in different taste at Md Rizwan’s outlet.

It so much in demand that his small eatery at the Okhla Head is full with people most of the time of the day and on Saturday at 3 pm several Haleem lovers are waiting in queue to have their plate of share.

Of them Haleem boiled Egg Biryani is something that sells like hot cake at this eatery, said Rizwan, the owner of the shop in business for the last 17 years.

In the corner of the eatery shop is two youngsters enjoying Haleem Egg Biaryani with one saying that he is so much in love with the dish that every day the first thing he does is to visit the shop to eat it. “I walk at least one kilometer daily to visit this shop and eat the dish. It is only after eating that I start my office work. It is tasty and more than the food the owner is very kind and generous and knows how to deal with customers. Once you are here you get a feeling that you are eating at your home,” said the resident.

Two other food vloggers were also seen filming the dish.

The shop is opened from 8 am to 8 pm throughout the year save on Eid and Bakrid, said Rizwan.
