A Noor Nagar resident Mohd Faiz told the OT that after waiting for years and with no positive response from representatives, a decision was taken to pave the potholes-ridden road on Independence Day.

Syed Fouzul Azeem, a resident of Noor Nagar, said just see how residents have taken on themselves to get the work of the pathetic road done by themselves.

Work to fill the potholes started in the afternoon with several residents turning up at the spot. They fixed the potholes and repaired the road, said Faiz, adding that due to bad roads several incidents of e-rickshaws turning turtle had been reported on the road.
This is not the only road which is in a bad state, said residents. They said if you walk through the area, you will come across many roads in pathetic condition. The entry of Abul Fazal Enclave is in bad shape with roads broken and residents lament that from time to time e-rickshaws have turned turtle.
