Automobile engineer reviving traditional village eating ways

An Okhla-based automobile engineer is trying to revive traditional village eating ways Jamia Nagar by making his newly-opened eatery plastic and steel free.

Faizul Rahman, 32, who has more than fifteen years’ experience in automobile industry took a plunge in food sector by opening Clay Kitchen in Abul Fazal Enclave. “I have tried to revive village tradition of my grandparents here. Unlike others, we serve foods in clay pots. Even spoon is of wood. Food is not served in plastic and steel. We use 100 per cent branded items. Chicken biryani, mutton, chicken and vegetable delicacies are served here. Also, we prepare drums of heaven, chicken lollipop mixed with Chinese masala and its taste is different,” said Rahman.
