Entrepreneur Mudassar brings authentic Awadhi food to Okhla, offers 10% discount with free home delivery to OT readers as goodwill gesture

Mudassar Abbas, 37, by profession works in a well-known HR firm in Delhi but after Covid lockdown he took a plunge in food business and said he introduced authentic Awadhi food to Okhla by opening his small eatery shop in B-23Abul Fazal Enclave.

He said he opened the shop realizing that jobs were not so secure as many of his friends lost it. “During the first lockdown, I was thinking about what to do. When locked in house I ordered food worth Rs 30,000 and realized that the food business was best and why not to start one. Being from Lucknow, I introduced Awadhi food. The chef in my eatery is from Lucknow and we take special care to provide quality food in best environment. We are also into home delivery and take orders for parties and marriages if somebody is interested in Awadhi food,” said Abbas, who has been living in Okhla for the last ten years with his family.

He said he will offer 10 per cent discount for the OT readers as the portal agreed to cover our story as a good gesture towards the portal and its readers.

He said his eatery serves gualati kabab, nihari, kolcha, shirmal, Lucknow dum biryani, gillafi kulcha, Luckhnow nihari mutton and more.
