Goats have started coming Okhla. It is understood that in coming days more animals will come and due to rain on Tuesday the animal mandi in Dhibi Ghat was wearing a deserted look with traders lining up their animals.

The most expensive goats were also on display starting from Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand pair to 50 thousand and Rs 65 thousand for one animal, 52 thousand for one and 90 thousand for a pair.

Some residents who were seen trying to buy the animal were seen bargaining. A resident said as more animals come to the mandi the prices will certainly come down. Due to hot weather, animals started coming late this time around.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind had announced about the sighting of the crescent moon for the month of Zul Hijjah on Sunday evening, meaning the first day of Zul Hijjah will be on July 12, 2021 while Eid-ul-Adha or the qurbaani for Bakra Eid will be marked by the Muslims in India on July 21 this year.
