The vaccination camp is being organised by Dr. M.A. Ansari Health Centre and Faculty of Dentistry of the university in collaboration with District Health Service, Government of NCT of Delhi.

Those given shots were kept under observation for about 30 minutes to observe any side-effect of the vaccine. Thankfully no side effects were observed. They were also given paracetamol tablets to be consumed if they feel any pain/fever and advised to keep themselves hydrated.

Earlier, Prof. Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, JMI urged all employees of the university to participate in large numbers for receiving vaccination with their families.  She appealed them to take this up as an individual and collective mission to rid the nation of the scourge of the corona virus.

First Covid-19 vaccination camp was organised from April 12 to 13, 2021 at Jamia.
