Sadman Ahmed, a resident of Johri Farm, has spent at least eight hours to find out his missing cat and when he couldn’t find it he approached the OT with an appeal: “I lost my cat in Haji colony jungle. Can you please help me find my cat? It will be a great help.”

If you find the cat anywhere in the locality you can inform on this number: 9899810848, says Sadman.

He told the OT over phone that the cat, which was gifted to him by his relative just four days ago, jumped from the window of his car while he was on phone talking with his friend and ran away in the jungle near Veeena gas agency where he had stopped his vehicle for a while.

“I was heartbroken to see it running. I immediately started to find it and from 6.30 pm to 9.00 pm I continued looking for it with my sister who also arrived there. But we couldn’t find it and with broken heart we went home to return to the spot again on Tuesday early morning at 5.30 am. We were there until 8.30 am and once again returned home empty handed,” he said.

We have shared missing information on two WhatsApp groups, including one dedicated to cats only, in the hope to find it, he said.

In the last few years, animal food sellers in Okhla said now many people have started adopting cats in the locality and hence you can see many shops opening to sell cat, dog food.
