Dead body of man found in Batla House identified

A dead body of a man found in Batla House has been identified, according to residents. Several residents were seen outside the house of the deceased in Abul Fazal Enclave and people were heard talking about the body being identified after it went viral on the social media.

A neighbour said the man name was Sultan and aged 30 years. His body was found near Dargah at Khalilluha Masjid on Friday. This was second body found in Batla House in the last 24 hours. On Thursday also a body was found which was identified.

Neighbours were seen asking the address with one saying the father and other family members are in the police station to lay claim of the body. Messages of the body being identified are also doing the rounds in the virtual world.

As the body has been sent for post-mortem the cause of the death is yet to be ascertained. A resident in the lane said he was married a year ago. As the portal gets more details the story will be updated. Another resident said the family is from Bihar.
