After 7 days of fever, body ache, ex-Okhla MLA Asif hospitalised, blood test results out

After being hospitalised two days ago, doctors suggested him blood tests to find out the reason behind his aliment. The results of blood tests were fine but to make sure doctors asked for another dengue test which too has come out fine, said Malik, adding that it took time to find out the root cause of more than eight days of persistent low-grade fever and body ache.

After taking the prescribed medicine and with doctors monitoring his condition there has been improvement in his conditions, said Malik from the hospital.

He said since the day news of his deteriorating health surfaced on the social media, his well-wishers and friends have been calling to find out about his health. Many have been calling to speak with him directly, he said.

When Khan was down with fever for days, many of his close friends and family members suspected dengue as the water-borne infection has seen a rise in Delhi in the last few days with many cases being reported from the locality. But with his results coming out fine, family members heaved a sigh of relief.
