4 drown in Yamuna river, one body found, rescue operation on

Rescue operation is on to recover bodies of 4 children who drowned in Yamuna River on Wednesday, according to media reports.

The missing children have been identified as Mohd Ali (11), Sahil (13), Farman (13), Rihan (14). It was after intense operation to find the bodies that Farman body was fished out.

It has been reported that after receiving a call about the drowning incident at Khadda colony in Jaitpur at 3.30 pm, the operation to find bodies began.

“So far, one body of a child aged around 12-13 years has been recovered,” the official told IANS. It is still not clear whether other three children had even drowned or not.

However, with their clothes lying at the river bank the buzz is that they too might have drowned.
