Chairman ,Standing Committee Rajdatt Gahlot said the last date of new amnesty scheme that was earlier introduced for the unauthorised colonies is also extended up to 31st March 2021.

Now the residents of unauthorised colonies can avail this opportunity and deposit property tax for only two financial years i.e. 2019-20 and 2020-21. Their pending tax from year 2004 to 2019 will be completely waived off.

Leader of House Narender Chawala said it has also been decided to allow 15 per cent rebate for payment of difference amount of property tax accrued on account of implementation of 3rd MVC Report for the Financial Year 2020-2021 till March 31.

The move will reduce the financial burden on the part of tax taxpayers as they are affected due to Covid-19.
