Ex-Jamia V-C Talat tests Covid positive, admitted to hospital
Former Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia Professor Talat Ahmad, who tested Covid positive days ago, was admitted to SKIMS Soura, official sources said on Thursday as reported by the local media.
Currently, he is Vice Chancellor Kashmir University.
They said Ahmad is suffering from bilateral Covid pneumonia, reported theins.in.
Dr G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer coronavirus control measures at SKIMS Soura, said Professor Ahmad was admitted around 9 pm on Wednesday night with “bilateral pneumonia.”
“His condition is stable,” he added.
It has been reported through sources that the oxygen level of Ahmad fell on Wednesday night following which he was shifted to the hospital.
