Fact or rumour: Shabana infected with coronavirus, hospitalised
Okhla-based activist Shabana Iqbal Khan Azmi needs no introduction as she has a good fan following in the locality.
And on Sunday one of her fans called in to find out about Shabana’s well-being. The fan wanted to know whether she is infected with coronavirus and undergoing treatment at a local hospital with her condition being extremely serious.
Though news about her health has been doing the rounds, OT contacted Shabana’s husband Iqbal Khan over phone to get to the depth of the story.
Khan said she is hospitalised and her conditions have improved but she is not down with corona-related symptoms as being spread by some in the locality.
Khan called the news a rumour.
A few days ago Shabana was taken to a hospital after she suffered from some ailment nothing to do with corona and now he has recovered well with her operation to be held soon, said Khan.
Shabana also send a message about her health on WhatsApp.
