    SDMC OK’s opening of 40 new Aaadhar centres

    SDMC APPROVES OPENING OF 40 NEW AADHAR CENTRES

    PEOPLE WILL AVAIL ALL FACILITIES RELATED TO AADHAR CENTRE IN THEIR CLOSE PROXIMITY: STANDING COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN SH. RAJDUTT GAHLOT

    Standing Committee Chairman Rajdutt Gahlot today said the SDMC has given its approval to open 40 new Aadhar Centres in its area.

    He said the move will help people in availing the services related to Aadhar Centre as they can enroll for new Aadhar Card, can apply for corrections, changes, etc in their nearby areas. In the first phase, 10 Aadhar Centres will be opened and remaining centres will be opened in later phases. People can avail the facility by paying charges fixed by the Aadhar Authority.

    Standing Committee Chairman Rajdutt Gahlot said with opening of the centres, people will avoid long waitings/queues as they will get services in their locality. He said that the UIDAI has authorized multiple agencies for Aadhar Registration and it has also authorized SDMC for the same. With the authorization, SDMC can start Aadhar Enrollment and related services in its jurisdiction.

    He said out of 10 Centres which will be opened initially, 5 will be permanent and 5 will be mobile centres which will move SDMC wards as per the requirement. He informed that Rs 100 will be charged for Aadhar Enrollment, Rs 100 for Biometric Update, Rs 30 for e-KYC and Rs 50 for Corrections in existing Aadhar Card.
