    School head highlights achievement of students at Jamia’s SAH Senior Secondary School Annual Day

    School head highlights achievement of students at Jamia’s SAH Senior Secondary School Annual Day

    Syed Abid Husain (SAH) Senior Secondary School, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) celebrated its 34th Annual Day on February 26, 2023 in Multipurpose Hall of the school.

    The programme started with quirat, followed by cultural activities by middle and senior section students.

    Dr Zafar Ahmad Siddiqui, Principal, SAH Senior secondary School presented the School Annual Report, in which he highlighted the record of tremendous achievement of students. Though the school has always shown outstanding performance but this year the school set a new record with as many as 40 students securing admission in different premier institutes of engineering like IIT-Delhi, BITS Pilani, Jamia and other well known institutes.

    Keeping the bar of progress upward, 20 students made it to top medical colleges including Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. Apart from this 18 students of current academic session 2022-23 cleared one of most challenging exam NTA JEE Mains with up to 99.2 percentile. Non-Science students also excelled and got selected in different undergraduate courses including Hansraj College, DU and Jamia as well as abroad LLB (Human Rights), University of London.

    All the achievers including academic toppers of the session 2021-22 were felicitated by the Chief Guest. In his address he congratulated students and faculties for their achievements and sincere efforts.

    The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
