Following their selection, Sarah Khan (Class X B), Jamia Syed Abid Hussain and Faiz Anjum (Class X D) of Syed Abid Hussain Senior Secondary School, will be studying in the USA for a year.

Two school teachers Azra Parveen and Ayesha Jameel (who is on USA university tour) played an important role in guiding these students, said Syed Kazim, who share the story with the OT..

Family members of the two students are extremely delighted over their selection. Every year, under the USA exchange programme several students are taken to America where they reside for a year and study in the country’s environment.

This is a big exposure to the youngsters as they get opportunity to study in quality educational institute in the USA and also get opportunity to learn English language there by interacting with the native speakers, said a school teacher.

For many it is a life dream and students are only selected for the exchange programme after they clear written and oral exams, said a resident, whose son missed the chance to visit the USA by a few numbers and was not lucky enough to clear the oral exams after getting good scoring in the written.
