    Successful Civil Service coaching students felicitated

    JMI organises Felicitation-cum-Interaction Programme for successful RCA students

    The Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Centre for Coaching and Career Planning, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) organised the Felicitation-cum-Interaction Programme on 23rd December, 2022 for students of the academy who were selected in different services through UPSC, Central, State and Allied Services Examination.

    JMI Vice-Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar was the Chief Guest and Dr. Shah Faesal  (IAS), Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India was the Guest of Honour of the programme. Prof. Nazim Hussain Jafri, Registrar and Prof. Atiqur Rahman, Chief Proctor and other officials also attended the programme.

    Prof. Abid Haleem, Professor Incharge-RCA welcomed all guests and attendees in the programme and highlighting achievements of the RCA this year. He outlined a brief report of the future plans that are to be executed in the coming days to provide best of the guidance to the students of RCA. He also highlighted the need of extending the seating capacity of existing library and requested the Guest of Honour to support for the same.

    Dr. Shah Faesal appreciated the leadership of Akhtar by way of her guidance and support to RCA and paving the way to make it an academy of excellence. He also showed his willingness to support the academy in whatever way possible.

    Akhtar congratulated all the successful candidates of RCA. She also expressed her happiness by pointing to the fact that large number of women candidates including Shruti Sharma, UPSC Topper of 2021 Civil Services Examination have brought laurels to the academy and making JMI proud.

    The students also shared their feedback and experiences of RCA, how the academy has helped in nurturing their personalities, their success mantras for getting into the different services.

    All the successful candidates were felicitated with Mementoes, and Certificates of Appreciation were also given to them.

    The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Ahmad Faizan Sherwani, Associate Professor Incharge, RCA. The Guest of Honour and JMI Officials had an interaction with students thereafter.
