Khalid Nadeem’s father Md Illyas Gaya died today at 2:30 pm after prolong illness, said sources. He was 85 years old and was suffering from Parkinson’s disease for the last five years, said his son Khalid.

He said his father’s tadfeen will take place at 8 pm in division graveyard in Gaya where he died.
“He was a member of Jamaat-E-Islami Hind since 1965. My father was the founding member of Millat Hospital being run by JIH. He was a regular contributor to Dawat magazine,” said Khalid.
Md Illyas Gaya has left behind 11 children, including 6 brothers and five sisters and a wife. A sister died years ago and all his children were in Gaya to attend his namaaz-e-janaza with Khalid also reached Gaya from Okhla after coming to know about his father’s demise.
