    Jamia’s placement drive for MBA students under Dr Rahela successful, highest package stood at Rs 25L per annum

    Jamia’s placement drive for MBA students under Dr Rahela successful, highest package stood at Rs 25L per annum

    Placement drives at the University Placement Cell (UPC), Jamia Millia Islamia for the Management Programmes commenced on a high note last year in October 2021 with students receiving good packages and the institution witnessing a highest overall placement performance, said the university in a statement.

    More than 25 companies handed offer letters to MBA students of various streams with an average package of around Rs 9lakhs. The highest received package is 25 lakhs per annum, said the university.

    The notable companies that conducted the placement drives at the campus were KPMG, Bain Capability Network, Accenture, ICICI bank, Vedanta, Newgen, Schneider Electric, Xiaomi, Lime road, CRM Next, Tech Mahindra, Escorts, India Mart, Cians Analytics, JK Tyres, Scaler Academy, Digital Jalebi, Byjus and many more.

    Dr Rahela Farooqi, Director, UPC, Jamia, said the pandemic struck a heavy blow to certain sectors but on the other hand it led to the growth of sectors like IT Sector, Edtech sector which is reflected in increased placement opportunities. She thanked all recruiters for selecting Jamia students.

    Jamia provides education to students across a variety of domains to cater to the needs of the nation and industry. Jamia is looking forward to a vibrant recruiting season for all visiting companies on the campus, it said.
