    Okhla shivers as cold wave sweeps through Delhi, air quality very poor

    It was a cold Friday morning as many Okhla residents woke up to cold wave conditions. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) the minimum temperature dipped to 3.8 degrees Celsius.

    It was on Thursday when the temperature dropped drastically to 3.4 degrees Celsius from 8.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. And there is no respite from cold wave for the next few days as the weather department has forecast.

    Besides, city’s air quality was reported in the “very poor” category as the Ministry of Earth Sciences SAFAR system recorded an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 308 on Friday.
