    Jamia student Khalid honoured by Kejriwal

    Munna Khalid, a Ph.D. student of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has been honored with the Delhi State Award for his outstanding performance in sports.

    This award was given by Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal in an impressive award function held on October 9, 2023 at Shah Auditorium, Delhi.

    This notable award is given every year to one male and one female achiever.

    Munna Khalid is the only badminton player from Delhi who has brought glory to the State of Delhi as well as the country in Para Badminton.

    Jamia Vice Chancellor Najma Akhtar congratulated Khalid for his achievement and wished him all the best for his future endeavours.

    Khalid aims to participate and bring glory to the county in the upcoming Asian Games and Paralympics.

    Khalid is currently pursing PhD in Hindi Literature from JMI. Earlier, he also completed his graduation and post graduation from JMI.
