The OT to launch know your candidate series
With the MCD polls next year and major political parties, including the BJP, the AAP, the Congress starting their campaign trail, the OT is all set to launch know your candidate series for Okhla residents.
Making a beginning in this direction, the OT ran a highly successfully FB live with Ward number 102 S Councillor Wajid Khan. Now, the portal has planned another FB live with another ward councilor Shoaib Danish.
After that in a few days time the portal is to start know your candidate video series. In this series, candidates cutting across political parties, who plan to take political plunge, will be invited to share their vision of developing the locality.

The format of the interview will be decided and candidates will be informed in advance. And with the days coming near for the election, it is expected that Okhla’s local leaders will get highly active with some already have started their campaign to influence voters through social media platforms.
