    Jamia NCC Cadet clears SSB interview, joins Officer’s Training Academy

    Cadet Sarthak Sharma, former student of BA LLB in Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) (2017-2022 batch), recently cleared the SSB interview and has joined the Officer’s Training Academy (OTA), Chennai for the 52nd Course (NCC Special Entry’) on October 15, 2022.

    Sarthak Sharma enrolled as NCC cadet in 2018 in Senior Division (Army) Company of JMI under 4 Delhi Bn NCC. He did his ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificate while studying Law in Jamia. He obtained A grade in NCC Certificate ‘C’ Examination held in 2021.

    Sarthak Sharma has always taken keen interest in NCC’s institutional training being imparted in the University. He was regular in weekly parades as well as other activities conducted as part of NCC training. Cadet Sarthak Sharma was quite proficient in communication skills which he displayed while participating in various camps. Sarthak attended the Narmada Trekking Camp, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) camp in addition to the Annual Training Camp. He also participated in the University’s Foundation Day Camp.

    JMI Vice Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar, has expressed her happiness over Sarthak Sharma’s selection in the Indian Army and has congratulated all the NCC officers who were instrumental in his training. She also pointed out that the University has a good infrastructure for training of NCC cadets.
