Imam of Khalilullah mosque passes away
The Imam of Khalilullah mosque has passed away. In a social media post, a resident Wajid wrote: “The Imam is no more and his namaz-e-janaza will be held in Batla House graveyard after maghrib prayer.”
A popular mosque in Okhla, his death is being mourned on social media.
Former Zakir Nagar Councillor Shoaib Danish told the OT that he also came to know about the death of the Imam. He passed away on Wednesday late night and was unwell for a while. It was only a few months ago when he had attended the Imam’s daughter marriage. We will miss him,” said Danish.
