“My father Iftikhar Ahmad Khan died today at 5 pm in Samastipur,” wrote Khan, who a few days ago was Covid positive. Currently, he is Covid negative and resides with his family in Zakir Nagar. On April 17, Khan wrote on his timeline that he was Covid positive.

“My father Iftikhar Ahmad was 80 years old. He was a social worker and lived in Samastipur. I was unable to visit my hometown as he will be laid to rest by 10 pm. In my house in Samastipur, my sister-in-law is Covid positive. Test of my father was not done so can’t say anything,” he said,

Iftikhar Ahmad has left behind 7 children, including three sons and four daughters.
