IOS patron and founder Dr. Mohammad Manzoor Alam passed away today at 5:30 am at Max Hospital. He had been unwell for several months, according to Mohammed Ataur Rahman of the Institute of Objective Studies (IOS), New Delhi.
Recently, a book on his life and contributions was written and released.
Dr. Mohammad Manzoor Alam, Chairman of the Institute of Objective Studies, New Delhi, was widely recognised for his insightful contributions to contemporary socio-political thought and Islamic scholarship.
Born in Bihar, he was residing in Okhla, New Delhi, with his family for many years.
Tadfeen will take place today after Maghrib prayers at Shahin Bagh Qabristan.
