Covid vaccination for all above 18 from May 1: Centre
Govt of India announces liberalised and accelerated Phase 3 strategy of COVID-19 vaccination from May 1; everyone above the age of 18 to be eligible to get vaccine, reported the media.
The Government announcement came on Monday after Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a series of meetings today.
So far, vaccinations only allowed for frontline workers and those above 45.
“Government has been working hard from over a year to ensure that maximum numbers of Indians are able to get the vaccine in the shortest possible of time,” PM Modi said.
